1. Why isn't this free?

The first reason is we need to pay for web hosting, domain names, administration, spreading the word (so you can find us) support staff and web designers etc. We choose to charge a fee to help cover these costs. The second reason why we charge the membership fee is to avoid our community becoming over-saturated and overpopulated. Obviously if there were 500,000 members we couldn't pay out $5, $10 or $15 a survey or we'd be broke! - or worse, we would only be paying you $0.10 per survey. Having the fee in place means we can divide our survey campaign budget evenly between our small member circle. Think of us as a secret money making club!

 

2. How many surveys can I take?

You can take as many surveys as you want. The only thing that will limit you is certain survey companies will only let you participate if you come from a certain country or Age group.

 

3. How much money can I make?

You can earn as much or as little as you want. Fill out more surveys and you will get paid more money it is as simple as that. Typically you can be expected to get paid anywhere between $2 and $30 per survey, although some will compensate you with products, gift certificates, etc

 

4. Whats the catch?

You will have to answer the questions honestly and not just answer randomly. This makes survey vault slightly time-consuming. A lot of people do ask 'Is survey vault a scam?' after finding out about our small membership fee and the answer to that question can be found on our 'Reviews' page where we have testimonials you can read. 5. Can I take surveys if don't live in the US?

Yes, there is plenty of surveys available for non-US residents. Although there are others that you will not be eligible for. We cater to most developed countries. (US, UK, CA, AU & EU etc.)

 

6. How do I get paid?

You will be paid mainly through paypal but sometimes the option to be paid by check will be offered.

 

7. What is a focus group?

A focus group is a small group of individuals selected to discuss and comment on a particular product or service.

 

8 . Am I limited to only my home computer, or can I take my laptop to a coffee shop and work from there?

You can work from anywhere that you can establish an Internet connection. This gives you the freedom to work from a variety of locations, including coffee shops.

9. What about privacy, is it okay to give out personal details?

Generally you will be asked basic details about age, sex etc. Then once accepted to take part you will then be asked views or options on products or services. Never give out information you are not comfortable supplying. Members often chose to use a separate email address and false details to avoid junk mail and spam.

 

10. Does the membership recur, is it a monthly fee?

No, we charge a one-time fee of $29.

 

11. How about taxes?

You are considered an independent contractor and no taxes are taken out of your overall payment.
